Life is becoming more and more complex. The average person will change careers 7-10 times in their life. We are challenged by situations and choices we never considered. As we do so, we make hundreds of decisions, large and small every day. There are times, though, when we become increasing frustrated by the decisions we make. Each decision seems to make things worse or keep us from doing the things we’d like to do.
At times, it seems like we just have a “broken picker!” The ability to make better choices depends on having the right information, then having the confidence to act on it. That information includes information within; that collection of experiences that shaped and formed who we are. Many times it is this internal data that keeps short-circuiting and sabotaging our choices. Life Coaching is designed to help you see more clearly.
Based on twenty years of experience in this area, Kevin will help you consider your full range of options. You will also develop new techniques designed to help you build your confidence in finding the answers you are looking for.
When Should I consider Life Coaching?
Life Coaching should be considered when you are tired of making the same mistakes.
Is this psychotherapy or counseling?
No. Psychotherapy helps individuals, marriages and families heal from serious psychological issues. Life Coaching is designed for those who are healthy and functional but not as successful as they would like to be.
Although Kevin was a psychotherapist for 15 years, he has chosen to focus his practice on Life Coaching. Because he no longer maintains his license, he will be glad to make the appropriate referral for those needing psychological counseling.
How does Life Coaching work?
Life Coaching sessions can be conducted in person or by phone or email. A typical session is an hour in length but can also be done in 30 minute sessions.
How do the fees work?
The first session is always free. It is an opportunity to meet Kevin and determine is Life Coaching is for you. After that, the fees vary based on the length of the session and the frequency.
